The VCSU Department of Music presents its Spring Choral Concert "Love and Loss" on Friday, March 7. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. from the Larry J. Robinson Center for the Arts.

The Valley City State University Music Department is proud to present Echoes & Elements, a solo faculty recital by Dr. Katrina Clements, assistant professor of woodwinds.The recital features collaboration with Angela Mircsov, associate professor of art, and Dr. Ozzie Johnson, piano. This unique and immersive performance will take place at the Larry J. Robinson Center for the Arts Performance Hall on Friday, February 28, at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public with a reception to follow.

The premiere performance of 'Reticulations' by Eric Lemmon, featuring duo 'low pass' (Dr. Taylor Long, VCSU Assistant Professor of Music with Rob Cosgrove). 'Reticulations' is the result of a long-standing collaboration with the duo, where the artist worked closely with 'low pass' to develop and refine this intricate, improvisational work. The 21st annual James D. Ployhar Honor Band performs a concert live from the Larry J. Robinson Center for the Arts. This year's honor band features more than 90 area high school students who auditioned to be part of the event.
