The VCSU Department of Music will be hosting the NDHSAA Region 2 Instrumental Music Contest on Wednesday, April 9. The contest will bring approximately 400 high-school students to campus between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Events will be held in the CFA Performance Hall, CFA Choir Room, CFA Instrumental Rehearsal Room, and the Norway Room in the Student Center. Impacts to classes in Vangstad, McFarland, Rhoades, etc. should be minimal. Any issues (disruptive behavior, etc.) should be reported to contest site management or the chair of the Music Department.
We hope that you give these students a warm welcome — some of them may be back as Vikings in the fall!
